At Magnolias & Snowbirds we offer Lead Line classes for the little ones, basic horsemanship classes and riding to anyone, and competitive class “A” showing. Our disciplines include: Eventing, English, Hunter, Dressage and Sport Horse.

Nancy Jennings -Head Instructor Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Eventing Instructor

Nancy has been riding horses and competing for the last 31 years. As a teen she competed in the Penn Jersey Circuit, winning champion in Equitation along with champion and reserve champion in Open Hunter and Adult Ameteur Hunter Divisions. Nancy Also did Eventing and Combined Training with great success and a passion for the cross country course! In 1991 Nancy qualified for the team competition at Gladstone. She has been trained up to Grand Prix Dressage on a schoolmaster and has shown successfully up to Fourth Level Dressage on her own horses.

Nancy has been teaching and training for the last 22 years. Nancy's students have also been very successful in the Hunter ring, Dressage ring and at Horse Trials. Nancy's students are always in the ribbons. Nancy will teach you how to be the best rider and horseperson you can be, whether for showing or for pleasure.

Tracy McGowan - Trainer/Instructor

Tracy has been working with horses for over 40 years and began instructing riders in 1993. Her specialty is working with riders and their horses to achieve a balanced and secure seat to facilitate light hands and correct alignment for BOTH the rider and the horse. Tracy is a certified riding instructor with NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped)wher for the past 5 years she has been instructing folks with special needs. Her teaching style is effective as she is sensitive to the rider and is fast to key in on their learning style. Tracy's teaching style is non-judgemental and focused on bringing balance and harmony to both rider and horse.

Riding Lessons
4 weeks @ $140.00 (for clients riding our lesson horses) or 8 weeks @ $270.00

4 weeks @ $120.00 (for clients who own their own horse) or 8 weeks@ $230.00

Show fees- All show fees are calculated prior to shows depending on all varying costs. I.E.: Entry fees, shared hotel accommodations, number of horses being hauled, etc. We will schedule show meetings on a need to know basis. All costs for showing must be paid in advance.
